By using simple visuals, numbered steps, and clear instructions, this job aid serves as a quick-reference tool that can be accessed in the field, reducing confusion and reinforcing training concepts.  It aligns with the ADW Plumbing Invoice Accuracy Training and supports technicians in maintaining consistency, compliance, and professionalism in their documentation.

The design follows a structured flow—Discover, Develop, and Deploy—to explain how CBT enhances learning experiences, improves workforce efficiency, and adapts to organizational needs.  Additionally, it provides data-driven insights on retention rates and acknowledges potential disadvantages, such as limited instructor-student interaction and financial investment.

Each truth is framed in a direct, high-energy tone, encouraging young professionals to embrace challenges, develop a strong work ethic, and cultivate a growth mindset.  The design uses bold typography, structured numbering, and dynamic callouts to make the insights easy to digest and memorable.

This technical document was designed to simplify the invoicing process for field technicians at ADW Plumbing using ServiceBox Field Service Management (FSM) software.  It offers a structured, easy-to-follow guide for technicians, ensuring consistent and accurate billing practices while reducing potential errors.

Design Choices:

The document was intentionally designed with a colored background to create a high contrast with the white phone screen images, ensuring that the demonstrations are clearly visible to the technicians.  This design approach prioritizes readability and usability, helping technicians quickly identify critical steps in the process.  Given the importance of clarity in field settings, the decision to use a colored background outweighed considerations of print cost, which was not a limiting factor for this project.

This guide serves as a practical resource for field technicians, improving workflow efficiency, reducing errors, and contributing to accurate, timely invoicing at ADW Plumbing.
